Our Team

Mr. Cook co-founded Cook & Bynum Capital Management in 2001 and is the portfolio manager of its global and emerging markets strategies.  Before forming Cook & Bynum, he worked for Tudor Investment Corporation in Greenwich, Connecticut.  Mr. Cook attended Hampden-Sydney College where he graduated summa cum laude in three years with a B.S. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Economics and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.   He also serves on the Board of Directors of Coca-Cola Bottling Company United, Inc.

Mr. Camata joined Cook & Bynum Capital Management in 2016 as a security analyst after completing an internship with the firm. In this role, Enrico is fully dedicated to supporting the firm’s international and domestic investment research efforts across all of its investment vehicles. He attended Yale University where he graduated in three and a half years with a B.S. in Physics and a B.A. in Economics.

The Charted Financial Analyst designation is granted by the CFA Institute. To attain the right to use the CFA® designation, an individual must satisfactorily fulfill education, experience and ethics requirements as well as pass comprehensive exams.

Mr. Callahan joined Cook & Bynum Capital Management in 2022 as a Security Analyst after completing an internship with the firm. In this role, Jack is fully dedicated to supporting the firm’s international and domestic investment research efforts across all of its investment vehicles. He attended The University of Alabama where he graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Finance and Economics.

Mr. Ahn joined Cook & Bynum Capital Management in 2025 as a Security Analyst after completing an internship with the firm. In this role, Jinwon is fully dedicated to supporting the firm’s international and domestic investment research efforts across all of its investment vehicles. He attended the Dual BA Program Between Columbia University and Sciences Po Paris where he graduated with a B.A. in Political Science.

Mr. Garg joined Cook & Bynum Capital Management in 2025 as a Security Analyst after completing an internship with the firm. Prior to joining Cook & Bynum, he worked at a boutique value investing firm in India and in audit and assurance with HLB International's Indian arm.  He graduated from Delhi University and earned his MBA from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester. Ajitesh is a Chartered Accountant in India.

Mrs. Pridgen joined Cook & Bynum Capital Management in 2014.  She currently leads fund operations for all of the firm's investment vehicles and oversees the firm's compliance initiatives and risk management through her role as the Chief Compliance Officer.  Prior to joining Cook & Bynum, she worked at Georgia Pacific in Atlanta Georgia.  During her time at "GP" she worked within the company’s Containerboard Division assisting clients with inventory management, supply chain, and exporting requirements. Amanda graduated with a B.S. in Marketing from Auburn University.

Mrs. Owens joined Cook & Bynum Capital Management in 2006 as the firm’s Controller, making her responsible for a variety of the firm’s internal administrative and financial reporting functions. Before joining Cook & Bynum, Lynne served in a number of management and leadership roles for various non-profit and philanthropic organizations. Additionally, she founded, ran, and later sold a small service business. Lynne graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Marketing Management from The University of Alabama.

Mr. Bynum co-founded Cook & Bynum Capital Management in 2001. Before forming the firm, he worked as an analyst in the Equities Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co., Inc. in New York, New York. Dowe attended Princeton University where he graduated with a B.S.E. in Operations Research & Financial Engineering and a Certificate in Finance. Sadly, in July 2020 our dear friend and partner passed after a hard-fought battle with brain cancer. We are grateful for the time we shared with Dowe, all of the ways he enriched our lives, and the passion he had for the business. His influence on his firm will remain, and we will strive to keep Cook & Bynum a place that he would be proud to carry his name.
