The Digital Education Revolution

As we discussed in the Annual Report dated September 30, 2010, the Internet is transforming the public education system, and we will not know the extent of this for years to come.  In addition to shifts in teaching and learning, Terry Moe, a well-known political science professor at Stanford, argues that digital classrooms and distance learning will bring down teacher unions as we know them.  This is a thought-provoking argument and one that will be interesting to follow as the paradigm of education reform continues.
