DuckDuckGo’s Privacy Approach
We take internet privacy seriously and use DuckDuckGo as our primary search engine. Recent Federal warrants being issued for anyone that searched certain keywords should give everyone pause about how they could be innocently wrapped up in an investigation. But beyond the privacy benefits, we have written in the past about the dangers of algorithms. We want to see a fair depiction of the world when we access the internet, not the echo chamber that we find when the algorithms attempt to engage us. Give this privacy primer a read to better understand all the ways you are being tracked, engaged, biased, etc.
